In this course we had to design a concept of a unique alarm clock that provides an aesthetic experience of interaction.

The final design is a cylindrical alarm clock that wakes you up with music. When the alarm is off, distorted music starts to play. The user, then, needs to pick up the object and rotate the disks to fix the music. Once the music is (almost) not distorted anymore and the clock is put down, the alarm turns off. This design combines our core elements, that is playfulness and the feeling of turning the gears, by creating the puzzle that has to be solved every morning.
